← Urgent & Specialized Engagements
I personally accompany a client to a treatment program, or between levels of care. I arrange the travel, travel with the client, and complete a handoff to the admitting team. Accompaniment can be engaged on its own or as part of a broader engagement.
Accompaniment is arranged wherever the program is, including flights across the country and overnight stays before an early admission. I am with the client throughout, and the family hears from me once the handoff is complete.
When to Engage ItWhen a client has agreed to treatment and the travel itself is the risk: a long trip, a first admission, a transfer between levels of care, or a situation where the family cannot manage the journey alone.
What This Is NotNot medical transport, security, restraint, or custody. No treatment is provided during travel; the admitting program provides the care. Accompaniment is voluntary, and the client may decline or stop at any point.
